This big golden solitaire was designed for a friend of mine who is an avid gardener and next-level floral designer. The warm oval citrine was a family stone, and it’s held by an open pavilion design carved with a clematis vine motif. 14K yellow gold.

The specific variety of clematis she chose is called Integrifolia “fascination.” I had never seen this one before and I love the very precise shape and drop of these bell-shaped blooms. Definitely the coolest clematis I’ve ever seen.

The bezel sides are open, and I also opened up additional peeks to the stone’s depthy pavilion from the shoulders as well. It helped make the carving feel more three-dimensional, and also made a fairly chunky stone & solitaire feel more delicate and airy.

Do you still make the clematis ring?
Thank you,
Jenifer
Hello! This one was a custom design made for this stone, so a one-off and sold already. I do custom pieces all the time though, so if you have something in mind, send me an email with some details and I can give you some information. (Also, sorry for the delay–My comment notifications got turned off and it took me a bit to find it.)
