Reworks of older wedding rings can be a lot of fun. I started with a pile of diamonds: Giant light grey centerstone, plus a smattering of light pink, yellow, and champagne colored side diamonds. The new ring has a steampunk Jules Verne vibe to it with a port window in 18K yellow gold holding down the center stone.
Tentacles curl around the band of the ring, cast into a contrasting 14K white gold. Carving contrasting elements–sinuous tentacles and mechanical port windows, etc.–I love how this turned out.
This ring is amazing Cheyenne! You made me a beautiful rose eternity band in (I think) 2015 and shipped it to me in Conesus, NY where I was caring for my 90 year old mom. She has since passed in 2017, but I absolutely love your work and wish you every success going forward. I am enjoying following you from time to time and seeing your amazing work. You continue to amaze me. God Bless.
