Pair of snarling foxes in wintry tree branches with a pair of fiery spessartite garnets, one a glowy orange-red burning coal, and the other a bright orange-yellow flame. 14K rose gold.
I made this ring for a lovely Irish woman. She requested some characters inscribed in Ogham, which is an ancient written alphabet and the oldest written language in Ireland, going back to the 4th century(!). She told me that the word roughly translated to an old concept that basically means “to have courage and be steadfast.” Ogham is written bottom up like the growth of a tree.
I love the color of these stones!
