Swirling bats around a champagne moon
We are all well aware of the classic full moons: Blue moon, Harvest moon, Blood moon, Super moon… Lesser known, but no less important is the illusive Champagne moon. Whereupon glasses of golden champagne are sipped while sitting on the back porch watching the bats dance about.
Bats flying around a smoky champagne moon was pretty much the perfect motif to carve for this unusual diamond and I love how it turned out. 18K with a groovy 2.27ct diamond.

This was a fun one to make: The center stone is a petite teal sapphire set into a big anemone bloom, curling vines & leaves carved down the sides of the band. From the gallery view, however, you see the pair of egrets, feathers being all feathery down the sides. 14K.
