This was a custom solitaire made for a woman from the Portland area, but who would be moving away to be with her new fiance. We decided to carve a Mt. Hood on one side, and Mt. St. Helens on the other (two prominent mountains you can see from the city here). The stone is a really pretty, very slightly peachy pink sapphire. 14K white gold.

This was a commission to re-vamp an older 5-stone wedding ring. It’s no fun to have a great set of stones in a design that you don’t care for, so I removed the stones from the original setting, then designed something a little more exciting for them. 14K white gold, diamonds & a little ruby eye.
I quite love how this turned out.

This was a custom re-design for a cool bright green jade piece my client sent me. It was to be remade into a pendant for his daughter, who was about to graduate from college.

14K palladium white gold, jade, and a platinum chain.

I modified my squid band slightly to include a nautilus shell to match with a ring I made a few years back. I also made her a new accompanying band with a squid tentacle and little yellow diamond.
Her band also fits easily inside of his band! It’s so cute when this happens.

This solitaire was inspired by art deco and old Egyptian motifs. 18K gold and set with a ‘Hearts & Arrows’ cut 1-carat moissanite (the specific proportion variances of this cut versus the standard brilliant make a difference in a very good way).
It turned out pretty much perfect.
See what I mean?
