Amphisbaena ring – added to shop!

Amphisbaena - Double-headed snake solitaire ring with 1.5ct diamond, 14K gold. cheyenne weil jewelry

This is a design from my shop: Amphisbaena Solitaire. This is a double-headed snake which wraps around the finger holding a 7.5mm stone of your choice. Face up, this ring appears as two separate rings worn together, but on the inside of the hand, the snake bodies cross as they wrap around the finger, making for a more comfortable, narrower band underneath. Made to fit a stone around 1.5 carats (or 7.5mm diameter roughly), and can be made in the metal of your choice. Details and additional photos at the shop link.

The sample ring shown here is 14K yellow gold, and set with a 1.55ct G/VVS2 Ideal cut lab-grown diamond. It is a size 5.75-6. It is also for sale, already made and ready to ship immediately–email if interested or if any questions about this one or customized made to order versions.

We also went with a strong patina on the white gold. It is more of a deep metallic gray color rather than strong black like the way sterling silver oxidizes, but I think it had a very nice effect and contrast against the rainbow flashes of the moonstone.
