This is a Year of the Snake brooch that I carved for a jeweler in Melbourne, Australia. I can’t wait to see how the finished turned out.

Continue readingThis amazing chrysoprase Medusa intaglio was carved by Lala Ragimov. I was pretty stoked to get to carve a setting for it: this tentacled sea monster with a silky lavender-pink sapphire eye and a serpent with a bright diamond eye. 19K rose gold.
Continue readingThis wedding band has a Quetzalcoatl (a feathered serpent creator god from Mesoamerican religions) Ouroboros motif. In the belly of the serpent is set an aquamarine stone from Mt Antero, CO. 18K white gold.
