ouroboros & pacific NW wedding bands
A hand-carved ouroboros wedding band for him, and for her, a Pacific Northwest forest band with trilliums, ferns, and one teeny little snake peeking out. Platinum 950.
She was generally less interested in having a giant snake around her finger, but they wanted a hint of continuity between the two bands, so the little snake amongst the foliage was the answer. Of course, I am always happy to carve a snake on a ring, whenever needed.

rose-cut diamond rosy solitaire
wild rose heart solitaire
I was initially freaked by the heart-shaped diamond, as I’m unused to designing for non-round-ish stones, but it turned out far easier to accommodate a heart than I thought. I think this ring turned out awesomely, and now I’m a heart convert.

peacock feather pendant
I love this new one; peacock feathers are hard to resist. This is a new piece I designed that can be customized in a few ways: white gold, yellow gold, 22K!!, a colored stone perhaps? A baroque pearl drop? Or maybe a little faceted diamond drop? I have a gorgeous little champagne faceted diamond drop for whom I’ve been looking for a home…
This one above is 18K yellow gold with a vintage 3mm (.11ct) Old European cut diamond (on an 18K, 18″ chain). This is currently available right now for the next few days, and then I’ll bring it up to the shop in downtown Portland. I can, of course, make a customized piece for you with any of the above alterations I mentioned (or not!). Send me a note: cheyenneweil@gmail.com .
The necklace I have this with is a Tahitian & South Sea keshi necklace with larger round silvery Japanese baroque akoyas (pretty unusual color for akoya pearls). The creamy ivory color contrasts so nicely with the silvery blue.

art nouveau pendant #2
This is a second pendant I carved a bit back, but finally had the time to finish up and complete into a necklace. This is a limited production piece I can make to order (18K, 14K white, yellow, or rose gold, chain length, etc.). The pendant and chain are both 18K gold. The design is based off of an old Art Nouveau embroidery I saw a long time ago.

rose-cut diamond and pearl drop earrings
One more pair of one-of-a-kind 18K earrings with rose-cut diamonds & pearl drops. The diamonds are both around 1.15 carat each (6mm in diameter) and the pearls measure approximately 11mm x 16mm. The black diamond has a white semi-baroque South Sea pearl, and the peachy pink diamond has a Tahitian pearl. I was so excited to get these guys together!
It’s hard to see in this photo, but I made little hook keepers on the backs of the earrings so that the ear wires tuck securely on. (I have another photo of the backs of them below.) Also, note the new earring photo set-up: magically floating earrings!

boulder opal pendant
One-of-a-kind boulder opal pendant! It is so incredibly hard to get a photo that really captures how cool opals are. This one has little streams and tributaries of opal running around all the way up to the top of the stone—red to orange to yellow to green, with wider turquoise and purple rivers towards the bottom. Boulder opals are my favorite. I like that they look like some sort of aerial photograph of, well, unicorn-land or something.
The stone up top is a little 2mm diamond, and pendant + 18″ chain are 14K gold.
Of course I couldn’t bear to cover up the back of the stone, which also has little rainbow rivers and streams running through it, so I opened it up and carved a little detail here. I have this guy listed on Etsy.

pearl party!
I made a new batch of pieces for the shop in downtown Portland: these lovelies are 18K yellow gold with Tahitian pearls (the giant gunmetal drop & the pistachio drop), and 14K white gold with a lovely white South Sea baroque pearl. I want to keep each new thing that I make. It’s so hard letting go!
Here is another shot of the pistachio drop. I wanted to keep it.
Multi-color peachy and pink freshwater pearls! These awesome jobbers are knotted on silk and attached to a carved snake S-hook because that’s just how I roll around here. AAAHHH! Can I keep them already?!
** PSA: These guys are going really fast. If you are looking for a custom pearl piece, please send me an email. I’ll be stocking up on new pearls/raw materials in early February and before I go would be a VERY good time to get your custom order requests in. **
